Location info
Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel had nice rooms, but the black vinyl from the couches shedding on the floor was a bit of a nuisance and the place needed some maintenance. The service was welcoming and helpful, and the location was good for the kids. The dining experience was wonderful, and the facilities were average.
The hotel rooms are a good size for a family but could use some updates in the kitchen and decor. Although noisy with limited temperature control, the ground-floor rooms offer a nice view across the Esplanade and park to the bay. The service is a mix of very friendly staff but in need of some customer relations training. The hotel location is convenient for strolls along the esplanade into Cairns but a bit far from the main 'eating strip'. The dining experience is a wonderful way to start your day. Overall, the hotel offers a mix of positives and negatives for a stay.
